NERF ACCUSTRIKE MEGA TUNDERHAWK Blaster

(Ages 8 years & up/Approx. Retail

Introducing Nerfs first ever MEGA ACCUSTRIKE blaster! Blast with power and precision with the NERF MEGA THUNDERHAWK blaster. For custom performance, the barrel extension can slide back and forth on top of the blaster allowing you to target farther distances or make a compact blaster. The THUNDERHAWK is able to take steady shots using the flip-down bipod. This allows for MEGA performance and ACCUSTRIKE accuracy. The THUNDERHAWK blaster comes with a side-loading indexing clip (10 darts) and 10 NERF MEGA ACCUSTRIKE darts (10 darts). Also compatible with NERF MEGA darts. You can find them at all major toy shops nationwide as well as on HasbroToyShop.com.

Thoughts On Blasters

Firstly, the price on the Infinus is better than expected. Its still a pretty penny, but if something is going to be a flagship blaster for the second half of the year, it has to be relatively affordable. The tinkerer in me naturally wants to open one up to see exactly how it works.

It’s also great that the drum can be removed. I am assuming that the drum has a purpose beyond just having a 25-round drum, like the Hyperfire or Rhinofire. Perhaps you need a special drum for the ammo reloading tech to work? There are still plenty of questions to ask here.

As for the Thunderhawk, the most notable thing to me is the making of MEGA Accustrike darts. Stock MEGA darts are notoriously inaccurate, and while I personally loved the Buzz Bee XL darts, theyre no longer made. So a Nerf-brand solution to the inaccuracy is very welcome. No word as to dart prices, however. And we know regular Accustrikes retail for far more than Elites. Capacity is a good thing with ten dart clips (e.g. Battlescout).

Admittedly, the inclusion of a giant extendable barrel extension is funny to me. It will be a hit with kids.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to make it to Toy Fair this years, but you’ll get a great scoop on Lord Dracs YouTube channel when February rolls around!
